The huge playground of the School is a boon to the young sporting talents. These activities help in personality development, improve Kinesthetic and psycho-motor skills, build self-confidence and bring about holistic development of every student.
To hone the sporting skills of Delhi Public Secondary School - Semiliguda champs, specialized coaching is offered in various sports, games and martial arts such as Athletics, Table Tennis, Cricket, Football, Chess, Basketball, Skating, Archery, Yoga and many other.
Drawing, Painting, Art and Craft hold an important place in the school curriculum where. Students express and create uninhibitedly. A very proficient and competent art teacher guide the students. Students are provided with opportunities to participate in Inter School Competitions where they get chance to display their skills.
Dancing, singing and playing music are part of a child’s process of growing up and learning what their bodies can do. It also teaches children how to interact with other people, objects and the world around them. We at DPSS – Semiliguda focus on these aspects of learning too. Students perform in school functions and participate in inter school competitions under the guidance of their dance teacher and win accolades for their performance.
To instil in the minds of the students a sense of responsibility and team spirit, all the students divided into a HOUSE system.
To help our students discover and foster their hidden talents, DPSS-Semiliguda provides various Co-Curricular activities which are conducted for different levels of learners. All the Intra School Co- Curricular competitions are held either Class Wise Or House Wise.
DPSS Semiliguda provides opportunity for students in organizing club activities at various levels. This excellent platform for students enables them to work in groups with specific activity objectives to unveil their latent talents. Their participation in these activities help them develop leadership qualities, build self-confidence and team spirit. Some of the clubs in our school are Quiz club, Elocution club, Debate club, Maths club and so on.
